Wash the new textile before use to improve absorption. Wash separately at 60°C on a gentle cycle in plenty of water. 40°C is also an adequate wash temperature. Avoid softener and bleach. Do not tumble dry. Reshape and iron whilst damp. The colour of natural linen becomes lighter with washing. Shrinkage approx. 5%.

The images are a continuation through the years as her children grew. "I wanted Ruut to be cozy like a patchwork blanket, just like life is. I drew themes that are related to flowers and growth, to reflect the shared period of life between mother and daughter. I see the advancement of an important person similarly to a flower in bloom - and of course there are always the hidden parts that I can't ever truly know.
The RUUT pattern was chosen as Avotakka Interior Magazine’s ”Textile of the Year 2015”.
Ruut is a mesmerising contemporary design flower pattern of contrasting hexagons and shapes that knit together like a patchwork, creating a unique table cloth or throw. Luxury washed linen & organic cotton is woven into concentric circles, mixing with large chrysanthemum type flower heads & clusters of miniature daisies.
