Marimekko is a Finnish lifestyle design company renowned for its original prints and colours. Established in 1951 by Viljo and Armi Ratia in Finland. Originally they started out producing stunning fabrics for clothing and interiors using iconic print patterns, including the poppy print Unikko, first introduced in 1964 by designer Maija Isola, which is still as popular today as ever.
Their designs are inventive yet, timeless dialogue of pattern, colour & shapes, unique, distinctive design which celebrate the art of printing. Always at the forefront of technology they use OKO Tex Certified products and are always looking to become more sustainable. Pieni Unikko is Marimekko's simple, bold iconic poppy print, originally designed in 1964 by Maija and Kristina Isola. One tea towel in a slightly textured fabric, woven in a blend of cotton and linen. Classic neutral tones of black and white with a centre of each poppy in olive green.
Today, the iconic flower represents creativity. This design is also available in the vibrant red and pink colour way and other textiles and accessories.

Care: Shrinkage max. 6%. Wash before use. Follow the washing temperature given. Do not add fabric conditioner.
