How sustainability is at the heart of everything we do 

When ola was founded we were proud to say each of the papers we used were FSC certified, now we're able to go much further.

  • We use a selection of truly innovative materials - from papers using waste from food production, saving mountains of almond, citrus and corn from landfill, to our signature natural shades made using 100% recycled fibres, saving forests full of trees.

  • Both our Layflat Notebooks and Patterned Papers are made in small batches in and around London. They are all made with FSC certified paper and are digitally printed using vegetable-based inks to minimise waste.

  • Our new Chromatic Collection is printed by hand at our studio and is made from 100% post-consumer waste. It is also packaged in a completely biodegradable sleeve made from sugarcane!

Ola Studio Foil Blocked dainty forget me not card, on soft pale grey colour card.  Understated & elegant a beautifully designed card. a celebration of simplicity, design and craftsmanship. The handprinted forget me not card is perfectly sized for letting a loved one know you’re thinking of them or adding to a special gift. Each card is accompanied with a caption on the back detailing the meaning and origin of the plant, perfect for occasions when an additional touch of sentiment is required or just to brighten someone’s day!

 The use of age-old processes - stitching in place of gluing and their signature use of hot foil printing, confers to each piece a distinct charm and character that can only come from traditional craftsmanship.

With carefully chosen materials which are kind on the environment. The beautiful textured 270gsm card stock is made from 100% post consumer waste and the foil is fully recyclable. Each card is partnered with a petite recycled Kraft envelope.
