Soft and pliable, dust and dirt repellant, water and UV resistant they are extremely versatile and hardwearing so can be used for any room in the house but especially good for hallways, kitchens and bathrooms. They have extremely high UV resistance, so are perfect for outdoor use as well.
Made from Phthalate-Free PVC ribbon & Polyester Warp woven together. Contains no harmful chemicals, metals or softeners. Made to Swedish & EU standards. Non Toxic. Traditionally woven on Jacquard looms.
Pappelina do not use recycled plastic as this is not governed but their products are low in carbon emissions and all processes are eco-friendly. The raw material is approved by the EU from carefully monitored and ethical sources.
Substances such as ketchup should be wiped off immediately with a damp cloth as it can stain your rug.
Pappelina rugs can be placed in a washing machine, maximum 30 degree heat. Do not spin or tumble dry. Alternatively they can be hosed down. Rule of thumb is max 70 x 250 cm rug for a 6 kg washing machine.
They are extremely durable rugs but benefit from regular hoovering. If washing, stretch the edges when wet to reshape then drip dry, preferably flat or hong over a wide stable bar to retain shape.

The rug is manufactured to the highest quality at Pappelina’ s own weaving mill in Sweden. Woven on traditional looms using wooden shuttles.
As with many Pappelina rugs, the colours are reversed on the other side to give you a choice of style.

These rugs are hand woven so please allow +/- 4% variation in size.
