Keep candles 10 cm apart to stop one melting the other.
Avoid touching the edge of the candle while lit, this can cause an imbalance & may drip.
If a lacquered candle has extinguished before it has fully burned the lacquer may have built up, remove this easily by heating with a match & remove the lacquer with the other end of the match or any suitable tool, such as one of our candle extinguishers.
The lacquered candles should always be extinguished with a light extinguisher to prevent the varnish from coming on or around the wick, as they may be difficult to light again if this happens.
We recommend pinching out the flames.

Ester & Erik stunning hand made cone candles. This is colour 63 Deep Forest, a warm dark green, one of our most popular candles, 25 & 37 cm high. Self extinguishing, these designer cone candles burn smoothly and slowly, are non drip, soot free and burn for approx 13 & 25 hours.
Created with the traditional hand dipping method, each cotton wick is repeatedly dipped into hot wax, forming the sleek and elegant fine taper finish Ester & Erik candles are famous for. Each candle is then hand finished by dipping it several times in the candle colour. Use alone or in two's and three's for a special table setting. Perfect for weddings and events, also great as a gift.
