Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 Pendant Light.
Louis Poulsen PH 3/2 Pendant is part of the iconic three-shade system originally designed by Poul Henningsen in 1925/26, which by design directs most of the light downwards. The shades for the PH 3/2 are made from mouth blown opal glass, the top one being 30cm wide, all glossy on top and sandblasted underneath, giving a soft and uniform light.
The PH series of lamps consists of 30 lamps, including pendants, floor and table lamps. The original lamp shades were made of metal and painted underside in different colours to produce either diffused warm or cold light, with the glass variants appearing later on which provide an all round light. Poul Henningsen was the first designer to use a scientific approach to his lighting designs and produced some of the most iconic and world renowned designs to the market, most of which are still available today. A true master of Danish lamps and lighting.
